When people think of hypnotherapy or any of it’s related counterparts, they often associate it with quitting smoking.
I often get people asking me things like, “Do you really think RTT® could help me with XYZ?”
The truth is, I believe RTT® is for anyone who is ready and willing to dive deep and do the work.
But for those who are still on the fence, here is one of my many personal experiences that support my embrace for Rapid Transformational Therapy® .
I’ve always been hard on myself. Expectant of better, of more, only it wasn’t necessarily for the reasons you might think.
It certainly wasn’t for the reasons I had filed away.
I’d always assumed that I pushed myself to do more not because my worth was tied to my ‘to do’ list, but because I knew, without a shadow of doubt, that I could, in fact, do more.
Some might knee-jerk to applaud me here, “Wow, I wish I had that kind of self-confidence,” but let me assure you, this attitude can be just as toxic as NOT believing in yourself.
I just don’t feel like I’m enough VS Come on! You can do better!
That you-can-do-better voice kept me in a constant state of feeling guilty, of regret, turning things like self-care into a burden rather than a boost.
Soaking in the bath with a good book meant I was taking time away from my kids. Guilt.
Going for a run would slip into missing the opportunity to eat breakfast with my family. Regret.
It was just short of torture.
Bur revisiting childhood trauma with the guidance of one of my colleagues, a talented Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner like myself, showed me that I had created and accepted a fundamental belief that, in order to show people I loved them, I had to be 100%, 100% of the time.
This also meant giving myself even 10% for self-care translated to taking time away from someone else = now they’ll think I love them less.
My rational mind said, “You can’t always be 100%” and “You have to empty your cup first so that you can hold space for those around you,” but in practice, that deeply rooted belief – a belief I accepted as true when I was 5 years old- was behind the wheel.
By uncovering that belief and the story that surrounded it, I was able to see how it was guiding my life in ways that I no longer wanted.
So, is Rapid Transformational Therapy® right for you? That is only for you to decide.
Are you satisfied with your current unfolding of life?
Do you find yourself caught in vicious, repetitive cycles?
Are you ready to transform and upgrade limiting beliefs so that you can propel yourself into a brighter, happier future?
In which case, RTT® is most certainly for you.
